Who is Hermann: Personality Theory
Before talking about type B personality. We will talk about the founder of this theory (type A personality, type B personality, type C personality, type D personality).
This theory is called the Thinking Compass or (Hermann’s Scale of Thinking), symbolized by (HBDI, which is an acronym for Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument), and literally means Hermann’s tool for brain control. The creator of this theory is Nad Hermann, an American physicist, artist (and painter) and musician, born in 1922 who worked for General Electric for many years, and led the developmental side in it. He died in 1999.
Hermann Quadruple Model

The mental brain: includes thinking, visualization, learning
Mammalian brain: feeling, sensory skills, smell, taste, excitement
Reptile brain: biological needs, food and drink, safety and security, sex
